Free Clothing Extravaganza Returns to Orr Rink
The Office of Sustainability will host a free clothing event in the Orr Rink on Thursday, Sept. 12, and Friday, Sept. 13, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 10,000 clothing pieces, from winter attire to athletic wear, all donated during Move Out in May, will be made available for thrifting by the college community.
Amherst Town Supports Completion of Massachusetts Central Rail Trail
The town’s Transportation Advisory Committee announced at its Aug. 1 meeting that they plan to support the completion of the Massachusetts Central Rail Trail. The project will create more connections between existing trails and improve accessibility safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and students. In order to complete the trail, the committee intends to garner support from all communities along the trail route.
Res Life Hosts Annual Wellbeing Fair
On Friday, Sept. 13, from 12-2 p.m., the Office of Residential Engagement & Wellbeing will hold the Annual Wellbeing Fair on the Valentine Quad. Various activities hosted by on-campus offices and off-campus organizations will be available to students, with the goal of informing students about the resources available to the community.
