Bub's Player of the Week: Adrienne Showler '05

Bub’s loves a squeaker of a win, and this was certainly no kill.

The score was tied 2-2; not much time on the clock,

it looked like overtime to play until there came a shock.

A goal with one minute left to go, the game was on the line,

Adrienne Showler’s foot was clutch, her shot was oh-so-fine.

Trinity took the loss, and the Jeffs secured the win,

just like that, we’re 1-0, it was just too bad for Trin!

Showler scored the game-winner and also goal number one,

two goals in one game, not bad at all, the season has just begun.

NESCAC Player of the Week came too, Showler’s got it all,

but there’s a lot of games to play, it’s going to be a long fall.

This team is hot, Bub’s says today, they’ll be playing in November,
