The Amherst Police Department arrested an individual on a town road for OUI- Liquor, Negligent operation of a motor vehicle and Failure to Stop/Yield.

Officers responded to an alarm and found no smoke or fire.

Residential Life staff reported an individual not affiliated with the College was on campus after being spoken to regarding College policy. The individual left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.

An officer found a group of individuals sitting at Tuttle Farm and not affiliated with the College. The group left the area on the officer’s request

Officers responded to an alarm and found no smoke or fire.

Officers responded to an alarm and found it was set off by incense.

An officer responded to an alarm and found it was set off accidentally by contractors.
2:38 p.m., Seymour Shed
An officer responded to a report of an individual, not affiliated with the College, parked in a lot with flashing lights. The individual was a contractor working in the area.
5:43 p.m., Converse Lot
An officer responded to a report of three individuals walking a dog on campus. No one was found in the area upon the officer’s arrival.

An officer took a report of threatening Tweets.

Officers responded to an alarm and found it was set off by marijuana smoke.

An individual under the age of 21 was in possession of alcohol. The alcohol was disposed of.
4:45 p.m., Valentine Quad
Officers responded to a report of an unknown individual going through trash cans and under the tents. An individual was found picking up trash from the ground, and not in the area of the tents. The person left campus upon officers’ request.

An officer responded to a hang up call on the emergency line and no one responded to the dispatcher. The dial was accidental and there were no issues.

An officer responded to a report of an individual driving around the area after a staff member attempted to tell them they were not permitted on campus. They left prior to the officer’s arrival.

An officer observed an unregistered vehicle on campus. The owner was contacted to address the issue.

An officer observed an individual going in and out of a vehicle multiple times. The individual was looking for a cell phone and declined any assistance.

An officer responded to a report from Residential Life of an unauthorized party. The group dispersed prior to the officer’s arrival.
