Residential Life reported an unauthorized party and people under the age of 21 in possession of alcohol.

An officer observed spray paint on a traffic mirror and speed limit sign.

The Amherst Police Department arrested an individual on a town road for OUI- Liquor, Negligent operation of a motor vehicle and Failure to Stop/Yield.

11:03 p.m., Cohan Dormitory

Officers responded to an alarm and found no smoke or fire.

An officer responded to a report of a past minor motor vehicle accident with no injuries.

Residential Life staff reported an individual not affiliated with the College was on campus after being spoken to regarding College policy. The individual left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.

An officer found a group of individuals sitting at Tuttle Farm and not affiliated with the College. The group left the area on the officer’s request

2:38 a.m., Rental Housing Units

Officers responded to an alarm and found no smoke or fire.

6:23 a.m., Hitchcock House

Officers responded to an alarm and found it was set off by incense.

9:19 a.m., 79 South Pleasant Street

An officer responded to an alarm and found it was set off accidentally by contractors.

2:38 p.m., Seymour Shed

An officer responded to a report of an individual, not affiliated with the College, parked in a lot with flashing lights. The individual was a contractor working in the area.

5:43 p.m., Converse Lot

An officer responded to a report of three individuals walking a dog on campus. No one was found in the area upon the officer’s arrival.

6:10 p.m., Off Campus Locations

An officer took a report of threatening Tweets.

An officer responded to an alarm and found it was set off accidentally by an employee.

Officers responded to an alarm and found no smoke or fire.

An officer responded to a report of lights on in a building that was supposed to be vacant. No issues were found in the area.

 An officer took a report of an individual placing their personal trash in the College owned dumpster. The individual is not affiliated with the College.

5:09 p.m., Morris Pratt

Officers responded to an alarm and found it was set off by marijuana smoke.

An individual under the age of 21 was in possession of alcohol. The alcohol was disposed of.

4:45 p.m., Valentine Quad

Officers responded to a report of an unknown individual going through trash cans and under the tents. An individual was found picking up trash from the ground, and not in the area of the tents. The person left campus upon officers’ request.

An officer responded to a report of a fox in the area. There were no animals in the area upon the officer’s arrival.

An officer assisted the town police with a disabled motor vehicle.

An officer assisted the town police with a motor vehicle stop.

2:27 p.m., Keefe Health Center

An officer responded to a hang up call on the emergency line and no one responded to the dispatcher. The dial was accidental and there were no issues.

An officer responded to a report of an individual driving around the area after a staff member attempted to tell them they were not permitted on campus. They left prior to the officer’s arrival.

8:20 pm., Kirby Drive

An officer observed an unregistered vehicle on campus. The owner was contacted to address the issue.

An officer observed an individual going in and out of a vehicle multiple times. The individual was looking for a cell phone and declined any assistance.

4:58 p.m., Mayo Smith House

Officers responded to a report of a possible unauthorized delivery. The people left the area prior to the officers’ arrival.

11:45 p.m., Campus Grounds

An officer responded to a report from Residential Life of an unauthorized party. The group dispersed prior to the officer’s arrival.

An officer responded to a report of someone accessing locked, vacant rooms. It is unknown who is using these rooms at this time.
