Mammoth Moments in Miniature provides quick updates on campus happenings. This week’s edition includes the Logros Latine Alumni Weekend, the Voices for the Voiceless festival, and the Amherst Global Village Festival.
Logros Latine Weekend 2026
The Logros Latine Alumni Weekend will be held on campus from Friday through Sunday, featuring alumni speakers, networking opportunities, and multiple discussion panels on the past and future of the Latine community. Alumni, students, faculty, and staff will be welcome to share their scholarship, network, and celebrate Latin American culture at the College and beyond.
Voices for the Voiceless: Sin Fronteras
On Saturday, the annual festival “VOICES”, originally founded by La Causa and promoted in partnership with other student organizations, academic departments, and resource centers, will be held on the First-Year Quad from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. “VOICES” is dedicated to decolonizing poetry and the arts through creating space for those who have been historically marginalized in academia.
Amherst Global Village Festival
On Saturday, the annual Amherst Global Village Festival, promoted by the town of Amherst and other local partners, will be held at the Amherst-Pelham Regional High School from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival will feature a vibrant array of activities, including food trucks offering cuisine from various cultures, live performances showcasing traditional music and dance, and local vendors.
