Junior swingman Adam Harper led the Jeffs to a convincing victory in their second-round NCAA Tournament game against Southern Vermont College on Saturday night. Harper, recently named NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year, scored a game-high 21 points, including 5-for-9 shooting from three-point territory. Harper also chipped in with five rebounds and three steals for the Jeffs to boost them on their road to victory.

Sophomore forward Andrew Schiel had 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting from
the field in the Jeffs’ win over Southern Vermont College. Coming off a tough NESCAC tournament weekend, Schiel was also hot from
beyond the arc, as he made 3 of 4 three-point at-tempts. Watch for Schiel to continue his domination in Amherst’s Sweet 16 game this weekend against the University of Rochester.
