At the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational this past weekend, junior co-captain Mike
Page led the men’s cross country team to their first-place finish. Page beat the
heat to place fourth overall with his 25:40 finish, just one second ahead of
fellow co-captain John Stanton-Geddes ’04. Page’s

Lynch, the freshman goaltender for the men’s hockey team, was named NESCAC Men’s
Hockey Co-Player of the Week due to the outstanding defense he provided for the
Lord Jeffs this past weekend. During Friday’s Little III Championship-winning
game against archrival Williams College, Lynch saved
Track team boasts widespread success
The day started for the women with Helen Dole ’04 finishing an impressive 12th
in the pentathlon. One of the highlights of the day was senior Rebecca Woo’s
1000m race. She started out in the lead and went wire to wire, finishing in a
blistering 2:56.99, breaking
Harriers run strong at Wesleyan
Their last event was held in Middletown, Conn. at the Wesleyan Invitational. The
women did exceptionally well, winning four events. Kate Hamill ’03 took first in
the 800m, Alyson Venti ’04 won the 1000m, Carter Hamill ’05 won the 1500 and the
4 x 800m relay team notched first. Laurel
Golf ready to go after break
The women’s team, led by Captain Jaime Ratner ’02, expects to attend bigger
tournaments this season, including the Massachussetts State Championships and
the Northeast Intercollegiate Championships. In anticipation, they have been
practicing indoors for the past three weeks. The team has worked with medicine
and stability balls in preparation
