ACPD received a call from the elevator emergency phone. The cause of activation was accidental.
2:50 p.m., Cooper House
ACPD and AFD responded to a fire alarm. There was no smoke or fire present.
8:23 p.m., Amherst College Police
Dispatch received an emergency notification via the Amherst College Safety App. The caller stated that the activation was accidental.

Dispatch received an intrusion alarm. The cause of activation was confirmed to be accidental by an employee.

ACPD took an accident report after a vehicle collided with a stop sign.

ACPD took a report of a motor vehicle accident.

ACPD received a call from the elevator emergency phone. The cause of activation was accidental.

A staff member was concerned about an individual that was not affiliated with the college. Officers responded and the individual left upon their arrival.
11:06 p.m., Off-Campus Locations
The Town of Amherst Police received information that a person known to them has made threatening comments towards Amherst College. The comments involved a non-credible bomb threat and threats involving a firearm.

A student reported their personal accounts had been compromised. ACPD investigated the situation.
7:45 p.m., Williston Hall
ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm caused by an air freshener.

Community Safety observed damage to the ceiling in the men's restroom. ACPD responded to the situation.
12:12 p.m., Campus Grounds
A student reported an individual yelling outside a residence hall. When ACPD arrived on scene they had left the area.
3:18 p.m., Cohan Hall
ACPD took a report of a stolen laptop. The incident is under investigation.

12:43 a.m., The Quadrangle
A Community Service Officer witnessed two students starting to argue. ACPD was requested and the disturbance resolved itself before the officer arrived.
1:31 p.m., Boltwood Avenue
A student reported an individual yelling outside their residence hall. When ACPD arrived on scene they had left the area.
3:01 p.m., Johnson Chapel
ACPD and AFD responded to a fire alarm. The cause of activation was from a water pipe bursting.

ACPD received a 2111 hang-up call. An officer responded to find no one in need of assistance.
