A student reported a poster was set on fire. It was then quickly extinguished with water. ACPD responded to the scene.

10:08 p.m., Amherst College Police
A student reported being scammed through the GroupMe app. ACPD responded to investigate.

11:38 p.m., Nicklas Hall
ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm. The cause of activation was cooking smoke.

1:05 a.m., Ford Hall
ACPD received a 2111 emergency call from the elevator. The cause of activation was unfounded.

4:25 p.m., College Street
A caller stated there was a fire on a porch on College Street. ACPD and APD investigated and found the fire to be contained in a decorative fire pit at the Boltwood Inn.

7:47 p.m., Valentine Dining Hall
Three individuals attempted to enter the dining hall without paying.

ACPD responded to an intrusion alarm caused by a contractor.

3:48 p.m., East Drive
A caller reported that a trash can collided with their parked vehicle. ACPD responded to the call.

A fire extinguisher was discharged in the common room.

5:13 p.m., Morris Pratt Hall
ACPD and Community Safety responded to a noise complaint.

11:35 p.m., Stearns Hall
ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm caused by a hair dryer.

ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm activated by a hair dryer. There was no smoke or fire.

11:43 p.m., Hitchcock Hall
CSAs responded to a noise complaint.
