An officer places a boot on a vehicle that was parked in violation of parking regulations and is on the boot list.

An officer assisted the town police with a vehicle after observing the vehicle driving in an abnormally slow manner.
9:50 a.m. Seelye House
The detective conducted follow up on an on-going investigation.
11:50 a.m. Amherst Police Department
An officer responded to assist the town police with an individual that was arrested by the town.
2:54 p.m. Converse Lot
A Community Safety Officer (CSO) and an officer responded to a request for assistance with a verbal disagreement. The individuals were offered resources and left the area without further incident.
4:24 p.m. Amherst Police Department
The detective followed up on an on-going investigation.

Residential Life (ResLife) staff responded to a call on the emergency line and no one answered the dispatch. No issues were found in the area.
12:35 a.m. Moore Dormitory
ResLife staff responded to a report of writing on the ceiling of an elevator. There are no known suspects at this time.

ResLife staff responded to a report of an unauthorized party.

ResLife staff responded to a report of two individuals, not affiliated with the college, who walked through the residence hall. They were not located.
10:32 p.m. Hitchcock Dormitory
A CSO responded to a call on the emergency line where no one answered the dispatcher. No one was found in distress in the area.
