Quad-captain Ladd ended his stellar career on Saturday with a touchdown on 34
carries for 179 yards, pushing Amherst past rival Williams College and securing
the Little Three Title for the Jeffs. His efforts at tailback earned him the
NESCAC Offensive Player of the Week award for the second time

Last year’s NESCAC Rookie of the Year, sophomore outside hitter Kristin Quinn,
was named NESCAC Player of the Week on Oct. 11 for her outstanding play in the
trio of wins over Bowdoin, Bates and Colby Colleges, in which she totaled a

Volleyball: Firedogs fight mightily at Wesleyan Invitational
The ‘Dogs’ first game, a rematch against host Wesleyan on Friday, ended in a
disappointing loss after four games (30-27, 30-23, 22-30, 30-24). The ‘Dogs had
