Forward Wohl scored three goals in two games over the weekend for the men’s
soccer team. The sophomore sharpshooter tallied a goal and an assist against
Roger Williams University on Sunday to help give Amherst a 3-0 win. However, he
was even more stellar in the team’s overtime
Men's soccer: Jeffs keeping NCAAs in sight
Last year, Amherst was seeded third and faced sixth-seed Wesleyan University in
the opening round of postseason play at home. The Jeffs were up 1-0 with just
over 10 minutes remaining when the Cardinals tied the game up to send it into
overtime, and, eventually, a penalty kick shootout. The

The men’s basketball team ended an impressive season with its first-ever trip to
the Div. III Final Four. The Jeffs were ranked as high as first in the nation
and finished the year ranked fourth in the country by D3hoops.com. While

Midway into the race, the Jeff boat found itself behind by two seats. However,
in the final 200 meters, Amherst pulled ahead with efficient and consistent
stroking.
Amherst took advantage of a crucial Bowdoin error in order to take the victory.

Amherst won Friday night’s game over Tufts in thrilling fashion. In front of a
packed house, the Jeffs and the Jumbos were tied 2-2 after two periods. Tufts

The first loss of the weekend came at the hands of archrival Williams College.
Amherst started the game extremely well, taking a 2-0 lead. A.J. Greco ’06
scored just 48 seconds into the game and first-year Sean Ellis scored his fifth
goal of the year just over six minutes
