College Releases First-Year Class Data After One-Month Delay After a one-month delay, the college has released demographic data for the class of 2029. This year’s class sets a new record for the percentage of first-generation students and students from rural towns. The percentage of Black and African American and Latinx students also doubled.
Smith College Dining and Housekeeping Union Rallies Smith College dining and housekeeping workers hosted a rally last Friday to draw support for the negotiation of their union contract. Union representatives are in the process of negotiating more agency in library operations and higher salaries with the Smith administration.

Michael Luttig spoke to students last Thursday about the erosion of the Constitution under President Donald Trump. He discussed the Supreme Court’s facilitation of Trump's unlawful initiatives and called for public protest against Trump’s actions.
