Aaron Lansky founded the Yiddish Book Center in 1980, after realizing the literature was endangered. He will be stepping down as president in June 2025, but will still stay on two more years as a senior adviser. Susan Bronson, executive director, will assume the presidency.

Conrad rose to fame as a Vine star and co-writer on Kehlani‘s “It Was Good Until It Wasn’t.” Aamer was runner-up at the college's Battle of the Bands.

In honor of Pi Day, the ​​Department of Residential Engagement and Wellbeing hosted the college’s first annual Pi Day celebration, a scavenger hunt that offered pie as a reward for locating Pi symbols placed around campus.

The college received 13,700 applications, up 1,000 from last year. Information about the racial and ethnic makeup of the class, the first to be admitted since the fall of affirmative action, is not yet available.

The lip sync competition, long a campus tradition, returned from a pandemic hiatus. Four groups of performers competed for the first pick in the suite selection process.
