5OCO Event: Pioneers, Professors, and Pupils: Gender Across Eras

Following the Sept. 28 federal mandate, the college has reverted to its 2020 Title IX regulations. President Michael Elliott and Director of Civil Rights and Title IX Catherine Berryman assure that the impact on college’s non-discrimination protection and sexual misconduct policies will be minimal.

On Tuesday, Oct. 6, the Black Studies department welcomed Ibram X. Kendi for a conversation about his new book, “Chain of Ideas: Origins of Our Authoritarian Age.” Kendi explained the ideas behind “great replacement theory” and the spread of hostilities against minorities around the world.
