ACPD responded to an intrusion alarm. No cause was found.

ACPD conducted a well-being check after observing a vehicle being operated in an unsafe manner.

ACPD responded to a hang-up call from a blue light emergency phone. The officer located the caller, who stated it was accidental and there was no emergency.

5:07 a.m., Valentine Dining Hall

A student reports scanning into the building, and a female party snuck through the door behind them. ACPD responded and only encountered a custodian in the area. 

9:25 a.m., Converse Hall

ACPD received a call from the elevator emergency phone. The cause of activation was accidental.

12:31 p.m., Amherst College Police Department

ACPD received a call on the emergency line. The caller disconnected and was unable to be contacted.

ACPD received a call from the elevator emergency phone. The cause of activation was accidental.

1:47 p.m., Amherst College Police Department

ACPD received a call on the emergency line. The caller disconnected and was unable to be contacted.

ACPD responded to a noise complaint resulting from the music at the baseball game. Music was turned off.

8:16 a.m., Smith House

ACPD responded to an intrusion alarm. The cause of activation was accidental by an employee.

12:07 p.m., Amherst College Police Department

ACPD received a call on the emergency line. The caller disconnected and was unable to be contacted.

ACPD received a call from the elevator emergency phone. The cause of activation was accidental.

ACPD investigated an unattended call on the emergency line.

ACPD investigated an accidental call from an elevator emergency phone. 

3:43 p.m., Railroad Right of Way

An officer approached a student who was standing on the railroad tracks. The student stated they were waiting for their friends to go on the hiking trails, and they moved along without incident.

5:35 p.m., Lipton House

ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm caused by hairspray.

ACPD checked on the occupants of a car parked in Dickinson Lot.

ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm. No cause was found.

ACPD stopped a motor vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. The operator was given a warning. 

12:42 a.m., Seeyle Hall

Community Safety reported vandalism in the form of a broken window to ACPD. 

7:17 p.m., Frost Library

ACPD received an alert from the College's mobile Safety App. The cause of activation was confirmed to be accidental.

9:59 p.m., Hastings Apartments

ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm. The cause of activation was from cooking smoke.

ACPD responded to a minor motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.
