8:41 a.m. Morrow Hall

ACPD investigated a 911 hang-up call. Officer did not find anyone in the area of where the call originated.

9:34 a.m. Dakin House

ACPD responded to the report of a suspicious person in the area of a College owned condemned building. The individual was spoken to and sent on their way.

5:07 p.m. Campus Grounds

ACPD took a report after someone posed as a staff member online with the intent to defraud a student.

11:41 p.m. Lee Hall

ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm. The cause of activation was found to be from burnt food.

11:23 a.m. Woods

ACPD investigated abandoned camping sites on College property off South East St.  Arrangements were made to have the abandoned property removed

12:27 p.m. Seligman Parking Lot

ACPD took a report of past damage to a motor vehicle.

10:20 p.m. Hitchcock Hall

Community Safety responded to a noise complaint and asked the students to quiet down.

9:38 a.m. Science Center

ACPD took a report of a past theft.

7:46 p.m. Boltwood Avenue

ACPD stopped a motor vehicle being operated in the wrong direction on a one-way street.  The operator was found to be unlicensed.  The incident remains under investigation.

8:25 p.m. Quadrangle Road

ACPD stopped a motor vehicle being operated in the wrong direction on a one-way street.  A verbal warning was issued.

9:01 p.m. Plimpton House

An unlicensed keg was confiscated at the request of Community Safety.

10:44 p.m. Moore Hall

Community Safety responded to a noise complaint.  Students were asked to lower music volume.

11:45 p.m. Nicholls Biondi Hall

Community Safety responded to a report of people in the residence hall that were not students.  No one was located.

12:47 p.m. Morris Pratt Hall

ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm.  It was caused by a hair straightener.

2:02 p.m. Smith House

ACPD responded to a panic button.  No cause for the activation was found.

5:26 p.m. Stearns Hall

Community Safety responded to a noise complaint.  Upon arrival all was quiet.

5:57 p.m. Off Campus Location

A student reported being verbally harassed while running on East Pleasant St.  Amherst Police were called as it occurred in their jurisdiction.

6:51 p.m. Hitchcock Hall

ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm, which was caused by a hair straightener.

8:47 p.m. Morris Pratt Hall

ACPD took a report of a broken window.

ACPD took a report of vandalism that occurred during a party.

2:39 a.m. South Hall

Community Safety responded to a noise complaint.  Students were asked to lower music volume.

7:07 p.m. Lee Hall

ACPD responded to a pre-fire alarm. No smoke or fire was observed. Alarm was then reset.

ACPD responded to a 911 hangup in the area of the Keefe Campus Center. No one was found in need of assistance.

10:21 a.m. Marsh House

ACPD took a report after a student discovered their bike was missing.

8:23 p.m. Morrow Hall

Students report someone is trying to scam them out of money via social media apps. ACPD responded to investigate.
