10:31 p.m., Marsh Parking Lot

ACPD received a call regarding possible gunshots in the area of Marsh House. Officers responded and a CSA was already in the area. After the area was checked, the sounds of gunshots are believed to be from acorns falling onto the vehicles below.

ACPD received multiple calls from the blue light emergency phone. No one was found in the area. The phone was discovered to be malfunctioning.

2:26 p.m., Frost Library

ACPD received a call from the elevator emergency phone. The cause of activation is unknown.

3:47 p.m., Frost Library

ACPD received a call from the elevator emergency phone. The cause of activation is unknown.

8:35 p.m., Lee Hall

Student reports bedding was stolen from the laundry room. ACPD responds.

6:49 a.m., Pontypool 

ACPD responded to an intrusion alarm. No issues found.

8:17 p.m., Newport House

Student reports that over a week ago, an older male was trying to get into Newport Hall and was looking in the windows. ACPD investigated and does not believe the unidentified individual gained access to the building.

ACPD investigates an unknown male who was making unusual comments to a student and staff member. Nothing threatening was conveyed.

8:01 p.m., Nicholls Biondi Hall

Community Safety responded to a noise complaint. Upon CSAs arrival the noise was at an acceptable level. 

8:10 p.m., Keefe Health Center

ACPD responded to an intrusion alarm. No cause was found.

ACPD took a report of athletic equipment stolen after being left unattended.

10:50 a.m., Hastings Apartments

ACPD responded to a pre fire alarm. No cause was found.

11:09 a.m., Frost Library

ACPD investigated an accidental call from an elevator emergency phone.

12:03 p.m., Hastings Apartments

ACPD responded to a pre fire alarm. No cause was found.

8:10 p.m., Morris Pratt Hall

ACPD responded to an unattended call from an elevator emergency phone. No one was in need of assistance.

11:07 p.m., Valentine Residence Hall

Community Safety responded to a noise complaint. CSAs spoke to a group playing a game.

ACPD responded to an intrusion alarm. The cause of activation was accidental by an employee.

ACPD responded to a pre fire alarm. No cause was found.

3:07 p.m., East Drive

ACPD stopped a motor vehicle where the operator failed to stop for a stop sign. A citation was issued.

7:12 p.m., Jenkins Hall

ACPD responded to a pre fire alarm caused by hair product.

ACPD responded to a pre fire alarm. No cause was found.

10:14 p.m., Boltwood Avenue

ACPD responded to a report of a person using aggressive language. A check of the area did not locate anyone.

Community Safety responded to a noise complaint and asked a group to quiet down.
