FAFSA Troubles Delay Enrollment Decisions
Admitted members of the class of 2028 will have two extra weeks to make their enrollment decision, amid the troubled rollout of the new FAFSA form. The college has still been able to provide prospective students with estimated aid packages.
Yiddish Book Center President To Step Down After 45 Years
Aaron Lansky founded the Yiddish Book Center in 1980, after realizing the literature was endangered. He will be stepping down as president in June 2025, but will still stay on two more years as a senior adviser. Susan Bronson, executive director, will assume the presidency.
Destin Conrad, Kiiren Aamer ’24 to Open for Spring Concert
Conrad rose to fame as a Vine star and co-writer on Kehlani‘s “It Was Good Until It Wasn’t.” Aamer was runner-up at the college's Battle of the Bands.
REW and Campus Community Celebrate Pi Day with Pie
In honor of Pi Day, the Department of Residential Engagement and Wellbeing hosted the college’s first annual Pi Day celebration, a scavenger hunt that offered pie as a reward for locating Pi symbols placed around campus.
College Accepts 9 Percent of Class of 2028 Applicants
The college received 13,700 applications, up 1,000 from last year. Information about the racial and ethnic makeup of the class, the first to be admitted since the fall of affirmative action, is not yet available.
