Bub's Player of the Week: Kate Shaw '05
and our women’s team was the one to beat.
They came in third place after an undefeated season,
and for their fine finish Bub’s has one good reason.
Five weeks had passed since Kate Shaw’s last dive,
in the one-meter event she was glad to place five.
Rejuvenated ski teams conquer slopes
With the leadership of captain Amy Randall ’04 for the women and Steve Hollister
’05 on the men’s side, both squads were able to consistently place in the top
five. The men finished in the top five six times, while the women were able to
earn five top-five finishes.
Babbling does what he does best
Since I’ve been buried in my books all week and weekend, and since there doesn’t
appear to be anything pressing that needs to be addressed in this week’s column,
I want to babble a bit about some random sports events of the past couple weeks.
