Women's soccer wins NESCAC championship
The win came on the heels of a 1-1 (3-1 PK) double-overtime shootout victory
over third-seeded Williams College on Saturday, and gave Amherst an automatic

With the loss, Amherst finishes its season on a three-game losing streak and in
a three-way tie for fifth place in the NESCAC with a record of 4-4. This marks
the first non-winning season Amherst has had under Head Coach E.J. Mills.

Field hockey: Jeffs blocked by Midd Panthers
The fourth-seeded Amherst field hockey team had their work cut out for them this
past weekend as they faced first-ranked Middlebury College in the NESCAC
Tournament semifinals. Middlebury entered the contest seeded first in the
conference and also ranked number one in the country by the National Field
